Maroochy RSL has introduced EZY PARK, a new advanced managed parking system based on licence plate recognition.

All parking for members and guests using Maroochy RSL facilities will be FREE.

Patrons will be required to validate their parking with the reception team prior to their departure. Once validation has occurred the validated vehicle will have 30 minutes to exit the car park.

Maroochy RSL patrons will utilise the EZY PARK system when visiting the venue. For more information about EZY PARK, please refer to the Q & A’s below.

Q: Why is EZY PARK parking being introduced to Maroochy RSL’s car park?
A: As paid parking gets rolled out through Maroochydore and Cotton Tree, and the demand for parking in the area grows, the EZY PARK system will ensure there is FREE parking available for members and guests while visiting Maroochy RSL.

Q: How does the EZY PARK parking system work?
A: EZY PARK is a timed, ticketless parking system based on licence plate recognition. On entry, a camera will record vehicle rego numbers. Patrons won’t be required to stop as no ticket will be issued.
Patrons will need to remember their registration plate details to be able to validate their parking with reception upon their departure. Patrons utilising the Events Centre and RSL House will also be able to validate their parking with the Events and RSL House Teams.

Q: Will Maroochy RSL members and guests have to pay for parking?
A: No members or guests who are using Maroochy RSL facilities will have to pay for parking. Once parking is validated the member/guest will have a 30 minute period to exit the car park.

Q: What happens if customers leave Maroochy RSL and come back later?
A: Members and guests will need to re-validate their parking on each visit to Maroochy RSL and this can be done with the reception team as customers leave the venue. But remember the member or guest must be using Maroochy RSL facilities to qualify for free parking.

Q: What are the fees if I am not visiting Maroochy RSL?
A: People who utilise the Maroochy RSL car park while not using Maroochy RSL facilities will incur a parking fee of $35 each visit (this is per visit not per day so multiple visits in one day will incur multiple fees).

Q: Will I be able to leave the car park without validation if there are no available car parks?
A: The EZY PARK system will allow each customer a period of 30 minutes to find a parking space without having to validate on exit. Patrons will have a 30 minute period to remove their vehicle from the car park after validation is complete

Q: Will there be staff to help?
A: Customers when requiring assistance can contact reception staff by pressing the call button located next to the exit gate.

Q: Who should I contact if my rego has been validated and the boom gate does not open on leaving the car park?
A: Please contact reception staff by pressing the call button located next to the exit gate.

Q: Who should I contact if I receive a parking fee and wish to dispute it?
A: If you wish to dispute a parking fee, please initially contact reception staff by pressing the call button located next to the exit gate.
