With so many hard working Aussie farmers doing it tough with no sign of relief the team at Maroochy RSL knew we had to do something to help.
In just one month our members, staff and local community have helped us to raise over $22,000 for Drought Angels to help our fellow Aussies doing it tough. Thank you to everyone who was able to contribute.

DRIVE THRU BREKKY A SUCCESS!
Maroochy RSL teamed up with HotFM on Wednesday morning for a pop-up Drive Thru Brekky promotion to raise additional money and awareness for Drought Angels as part of our August Eat Out For The Drought campaign.
Ladies, tradies and generous locals drove through from 6am to 9am and picked up a delicious brekky pack for $10, with 100% of proceeds going to Drought Angels. Some drivers declined a brekky pack and gave a donation which was extremely generous and gratefully received.
In total drivers snapped up 150 packs, raising $1500, then Maroochy RSL tipped in another $3500 so we were able to present a giant $5000 cheque to the very deserving and hardworking team at Drought Angels.
Our Eat Out For The Drought campaign is continuing until the end of August with $1 from all Bistro meals sold at lunch and dinner services to be donated to Drought Angels. To those who supported the brekky on Wednesday morning and those who have dined in the Bistro – our farmers need you and you are delivering. Thank you.
