RETURNED AND SERVICES LEAGUE OF AUSTRALIA

The RSL was formed in June 1916 by Australian troops who returned home from World War I including those who were sick and wounded.

The RSL’s aims were simple:

– To preserve the spirit of mateship formed amidst the carnage and horror of battle;
– To honour the memory of those who had died during the war; and
– To help each other.

THE OBJECTIVES THAT WERE FIRST FORMED STILL HOLD FIRM TODAY DIVIDED INTO:

The League is a progressive community orientated association and we are pleased that our service to veterans, Ex-Servicemen and women and their families is considered to be one of the highest in Queensland with a very high success rate in processing claims on behalf of Veterans.

RSL League Membership should not be confused with Maroochy RSL Membership.
